endemol productions have been in touch regarding a documentary being planned to commemorate the death of john peel. it will be based around his top 100 record box, in which was found a copy of love is not real/stakeout. a video has been sent to them, with the band playing a special set at queens hall bradford in 1980 filmed by eel pie, and they are hoping to hear of their inclusion in the programme soon. a new ep has been recorded 'the negatives say...' and will be available at gigs from retford (october 1st) onwards. more recording is planned for later in the year, with the idea being to release another album in early 2006, with loads of new songs plus some re-recordings of older stuff.
